Since 2012, Mattijs has worked in advisory and managerial roles at the Dutch Railways before taking on the role of responsible (managing partner) for the communication proposition at Frisse Blikken. In these roles, Mattijs gained insight into many large organizations and acquired a wealth of diverse experiences and knowledge. After 10 years of experience on the organizational and agency side, he decided to start his own business.
In addition to his work as a presenter and moderator, Mattijs, after being involved as a volunteer since 2014, works as the managing director/board member of Stichting de Ster (non-profit) to make a significant contribution to the mental health and resilience of children and young people in the Netherlands.
