Marielle Blanchier
Exceptional Motivator
Born in Bordeaux to Dutch parents, Marielle Blanchier-van Hoorn studied chemistry at King's College in London and graduated from ESSEC. She began her professional life as a sales engineer in the pharmaceutical industry at Boehringer Ingelheim, then left her career to become a full-time mother. Thirteen children were born over 21 years. Her extraordinary life choice provides a rich experience for businesses in terms of organization, self-surpassing, adaptability, efficiency, boldness, and team spirit. She was awarded the Family Medal by President François Hollande in November 2015. She published "Et ils eurent beaucoup d'enfants" with Les Arènes, Paris 2013, Pocket 2015, and regularly appears in French media on topics concerning family, children, and organization, whether on television (Salut les terriens, Toute une histoire, Le Grand D8...), on the radio (France Inter, RTL...), or in the press (Le Monde, Le Figaro, Elle..).
