Laurent Goulvestre is an intercultural facilitator. He works with industrial groups around the world and facilitates relationships between foreign and French partners who need to work together. He is the author of five books, including “A Small Intercultural Treatise for Better Success Internationally” and “Communicating Well with Your Indian Counterparts”. He is also a lecturer at HEC and in various MBA programs abroad.
Laurent Goulvestre has designed conference programs to raise awareness among every international player to optimize their behavior in intercultural meetings. His conferences come in two types to satisfy seminar organizers.
On one hand, there are so-called “classic” conferences on how to work better with foreign cultures, how to open up even more to the international scene, towards Germans, Indians, Chinese, Americans, etc.
On the other hand, there are so-called “show” conferences, on these same themes but in the form of a one-man show. Halfway between Tintin the explorer and Professor Nimbus, Laurent arrives on stage with a large suitcase and a backpack, in which he hides all sorts of accessories. He is the only expert in France to perform “one-man shows” on intercultural topics to raise awareness among all personnel of a company, or a group of people, who work internationally.
Designed with a professional director, his shows last 1 hour and 15 minutes and are followed by a debate with the audience for sharing experiences and answering questions from the audience.
A businessman and former Division Director abroad in industrial groups such as Honeywell and Rockwell, Laurent Goulvestre speaks in English and French with a full understanding of the corporate world.
With a global immersion in more than 70 countries over thirty years and in countries as varied as China, the United States, India, the United Kingdom, and Germany, he opens the doors to a cross-cutting, clear, and precise understanding of cultural differences. Laurent Goulvestre has trained over 3000 people on intercultural differences around the world for prestigious groups such as L’Oréal, Hermès, PSA, BMW, Rolls Royce, AREVA, and Aerospace, as well as professional unions like AFFIX, or Chambers of Commerce like that of Le Mans and Midi Pyrénées.
