With Latin-American dancing parents and her father a singer in various bands, Kim-Lian was exposed to music and dance at an early age. In 2004, she released her first album, which quickly topped the charts both domestically and internationally. In 2006, Kim-Lian released her second album Just do it, all the songs of which she wrote herself. In addition to her singing career, Kim-Lian has also established herself as a presenter and actress. She presented the Kids Top 20 and National Kids TV on Jetix weekly. Additionally, Kim-Lian is frequently requested as a presenter for various large-scale media events, which have also been broadcast on television, including the Eurovision Junior Song Contest (2007) and the Televizierring gala (2013). In the theater, Kim-Lian has also made a name for herself. She played lead roles in various musical productions such as The Little Mermaid, Fame, Daddy Cool, Shrek, and several other theater pieces. In 2013, she presented the new program Junior Dance together with Ewout Genemans and stood next to Frits Sissing for the second time at Musical Sing-a-Long and also Stand Up Against Cancer in early 2014. In the fall of 2013, she formed a presentation duo with Ewout Genemans during the international final of the Junior Song Contest, which was organized from the Netherlands that year.
