Jesse Geul began his career at the police in Amsterdam as a chief officer and investigator before making the transition to the recruitment sector at the age of 30. At the FIOD, he was responsible for recruiting investigators, and at the Public Prosecution Service, he has recruited dozens of public prosecutors.
Since 2018, Jesse shares his insights weekly on LinkedIn, where more than 100,000 people follow his humorous and sharp perspective on the labor market. In 2025, his book ‘Why (n)obody wants to work for you’ was nominated for management book of the year.
