Originally from Nice – a veterinarian by training and a graduate of the HEC 3rd cycle – this seasoned (and feared) sailor has been dedicated to ocean racing since 2002. Meticulous, hard-working, and resolutely perfectionist, he continues to assert himself, day by day, in his role as a pure salt sailor. In the realm of 60-foot Open boats, where he has become a key figure, he is always ready for the boldest challenges.
Brief achievements:
• 2012-2013: Vendée Globe, 4th. He accomplished the feat of finishing the race covering 2,643 miles without a keel.
• 2011: Elected Sailor of the Year
