Jean-Marc Bilderbeek has over 20 years of experience as an (interim) project and change manager, IT consultant, sales manager, and “fixed price” personal coach, within both the commercial and public sectors. He has successfully completed change projects at ISS, Rijkswaterstaat, UWV, The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Conclusion, Nationale Nederlanden, Rabobank, Aegon, ProRail, Engie, Talpa Networking, KLM, NWO, and Macaw. His broad knowledge and hands-on approach enable him to bridge the gap between people, objectives, organizations, and change. His trademark is developing and implementing behavioral change around personal or organizational challenges.
Jean-Marc Bilderbeek knows how to inspire and motivate people to change. His core expertise lies in change management; both at the organizational and team and individual levels. Partners and participants describe him as entrepreneurial, creative, motivating, energetic, results-oriented, problem-solving, and collegial. Due to his open and driven character, he has the ability to make real connections with people and motivate them to take action and step outside their ‘boundaries.’ These ‘boundaries’ cause us stress, and they literally and figuratively limit our creativity, living space, and development. Organizations and people want to continue believing that there is one all-encompassing method or technique to effect change and help people step outside their boundaries. Jean-Marc has learned in his dynamic life that there are many truths in this area. Through his extensive practical experience, Jean-Marc has a very different story. Since 2008, he has been the founder and owner of Kaderloos, a successful organization specializing in motivating people to change. His motto is, “People want to change, but do not want to be changed.”
Until that year, when he himself had his first epileptic seizure at the age of 38.
After the initial medical examination, he was immediately prescribed medication. He was also told that he would never recover. His world partially collapsed and was subsequently dominated by medication, seizures, and the many unpleasant consequences of this incurable disease. What now? One thing quickly became clear: HE had to change too!
This wake-up call brought him an important insight: under the influence of a busy life as an interim manager, project leader, and trainer, ‘easy’ and ‘convenient’ determined his diet. He then embarked on a bizarre quest for a solution that actually works. This quest for healing has led to remarkable insights and a unique perspective on healthcare, personal responsibilities, boundary-less thinking & doing, leadership, self-responsibility, goal-oriented nutrition, and the ‘price of taste.’ Almost all of these terms are also strong metaphors for management challenges that many organizations and teams face.
He decided to make this quest his life mission. Continuously seeking inspiration, alternative ways of working, innovative techniques, new working methods, strong partners, open-minded clients, and a lot of self-reflection could only succeed if he first changed himself: he had to step out of his ‘comfort zone’ by letting go of support, assumptions, and prejudices and continue believing in the search for the right truth. This allowed him to truly open himself up to other truths and wonder; the conditions for becoming ‘boundary-less’ healthy: self-healing and development.
Since 2013, he has taken people along on his journey with his award-winning story about, among other things, boundary-less thinking & doing, leadership, self-responsibility, goal-oriented nutrition, and the ‘price of taste.’ His enthusiastic story about the quest for healing from his burnout and epilepsy keeps listeners glued to their seats. An enthusiastic, provocative, vulnerable, and passionate story about the power of self-responsibility and making choices. Your life will change immediately.
