Hugo Kennis is an actor, presenter, and cooking enthusiast. For Hugo, food has always been more than a necessity: he sees it as an experience. Cooking for people gives him, in his own words, extreme satisfaction. Hugo's big dream is to one day live completely self-sufficiently.

Hugo Kennis is an actor, presenter, and chef. Hugo completed a culinary training program and studied Hospitality Management in Eindhoven and Tilburg. He developed his second passion at the University of the Arts in Tilburg, where he attended the Musical and Theater Academy. Before diving into cooking, Hugo performed in many different musicals.
Hugo was part of the cooking trio ‘de Worsten van Babel’ together with his friends Marius and Jasper Gottlieb. They were featured on 24Kitchen with their show ‘De worsten van Babel on Tour’, in which they made a culinary journey through Europe. Additionally, he is also seen solo on 24Kitchen, in ‘Hugo maakt Kennis’. He was also the regular chef of the RTL live program ‘5 uur live’ and ‘Eigen Huis & Tuin: Lekker Leven’.
In 2020, Hugo published two cookbooks. ‘T Waanzinnige Kinderkookboek’ together with Mark Haayema and ‘de Worsten van Babel koken overal’ together with Marius and Jasper Gottlieb.
