Heinrich Großbongardt is not only one of the most quoted aviation experts in Germany, but he also enjoys a high reputation internationally. In the event of aircraft accidents, he is one of the first points of contact for major media outlets.
Aviation has been his passion since he first held a control stick at the age of 14. After studying law and training as a journalist, he transitioned to public relations in 1985, where he managed the pilots’ association Vereinigung Cockpit, among others. Since 1989, he has been self-employed, advising companies from all areas of aviation on marketing and public relations issues.
His breadth of experience is extensive. He understands the aviation market in its various facets, is knowledgeable about flight operations, and played a significant role in developing Lufthansa’s environmental strategy. Heinrich Großbongardt was the spokesperson for Boeing in Germany from 1999 to 2004. During this time, he was responsible for a number of pan-European projects and subsequently advised the Seattle-based manufacturer on strategic issues. His consulting firm’s client list includes manufacturers and operators of business jets as well as companies in the supply industry and airports.
His comprehensive insight into all aspects of aviation allows him to convey this fascinating subject matter competently, understandably, and entertainingly.
