At 32 years old, with a background in geology, he is an expedition organizer, photographer, and filmmaker of scientific and adventure films. The explorer Evrard Wendenbaum, leader of scientific and extreme sports expeditions, is at your service and offers to draw real lessons from his incredible experiences that are relevant to the business world.
His adventures
After crossing the ice caps of Patagonia and Alaska, the natural labyrinth of the Makay massif in Madagascar, and the island of Réunion through its abyssal canyons, he climbed the highest monolith in the world (6255m) in Pakistan and the highest waterfall in the world in Venezuela
(1000m – 15 days suspended).
In 2010 and 2011, he led some of the most significant scientific missions for biodiversity inventory in one of the most inaccessible massifs in the world, the Makay in Madagascar (5 months, 140 people including 60 scientists, 8 tons of equipment).
His photos and films
From each of his explorations, Evrard brings back splendid images, documentaries, and stories that have won numerous awards and have been published and broadcast worldwide.
Today, he is co-author and the main character of the first 3D adventure documentary co-produced and aired in prime time on Canal+ in December 2011, author of a beautiful book on the Makay massif published by Editions de La Martinière, and of an exhibition at the Cité des Sciences in Paris.
His ambition
Eager to put his energy and skills to the service of nature conservation, and driven by a passion for the Makay massif, he launched the Makay Nature conservation project in 2007.
In 2009, he co-founded the Naturevolution association in the hope of also acting for the preservation of other unexplored and threatened regions of the world and for improving knowledge about biodiversity.
Recognized by the media, Evrard Wendenbaum’s work has been praised multiple times by print and television media: La Matinale on Canal+, interview on France Inter, article in Le Monde and L’express.
Today, Evrard Wendenbaum offers you the opportunity to benefit from his experience through powerful and meaningful messages that will resonate within your organization. What if, for a few moments, you took your teams, clients, or partners to the world’s greatest cliffs, the coldest and windiest ice caps, the most inaccessible treasure trove of biodiversity, and the most extraordinary adventures? These interventions are a true source of wonder, inspiration, and motivation for both professional and personal life. An opportunity to pass on to others the passion for entrepreneurship. An “immersive” staging using films, photos, and soundscapes that plunges the audience into the heart of the expeditions.
