Eric Zipper has been the president of the USAR Global Rescue Corps since 2012. During his 25 years of intense commitment in the field of rescue (traditional, caving, mountain, disaster), Eric ZIPPER has taken on responsibilities at the departmental, regional, and then national levels. He has led numerous very complex rescue operations, established frameworks, and many procedures. With his knowledge of the corporate world, which he combines with his expertise in rescue under extreme conditions, his interventions are always impactful and effective. Rescue operations, whether they take place in France or abroad, in difficult and/or hostile environments, after disasters, have in common the necessity to reassess
priorities, criteria, and command. The stakes are high: it is the success of the
