Born in Toulouse in 1983, Dorothée then continued her studies at the city’s conservatory from 1990 to 1995. In 1995, she entered the Paris Opera Ballet School, where five years later she would be engaged in the Corps de Ballet.
In 2007, she took a significant step in her dancing career, as at the age of 24 she was named Étoile following a performance of The Nutcracker without a costume because the staff was on strike.
Dorothée is a dancer recognized around the world, and she is regularly invited to participate in performances abroad. She danced in the United States in 2001, then in Brazil, China, Cuba, Australia, and Moscow. The country where she dances most often when she is not in France is Japan.
Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, The Three Musketeers, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, and La Dame aux Camélias are among her repertoire.
For her ability to evolve and excel in her field, she has been awarded several times, both in France and abroad. In 2006, she received the “Ballet 2000 Prize” in Cannes, and in Italy, the “Leonide Massine Prize.”
