About Daina Mazutis

Daina Mazutis is a Professor of Strategy and Leadership at IMD Lausanne.

Specifically, Daina’s research looks at the role of executive orientation in shaping business strategy, particularly as it pertains to dynamic and complex situations involving ethical decision making or social and environmental issues.

Her paper, titled “Why Zero is Not One: Towards a Measure a Corporate Social Strategy”, won the prestigious best paper award for the Social Issues in Management Division of the Academy of Management (AOM).

Prior to her doctoral studies, Daina spent over ten years in advertising, marketing, consulting and sales where she specialized in the strategic planning, research, development and implementation of national marketing campaigns.
