About Christophe Moni

Christophe Moni began his career at Rugby Nice Côte d’Azur Université-Racing, before joining RC Toulon. His international debut took place in 1996, when he played – and won – against the Romanian team. He was only 24 years old. In 1997, he joined Stade Français Paris coached by Bernard Laporte, where he played as a flanker. In 2000, he played against Australia and New Zealand. That same year, he won with the French team against New Zealand. In 2001, he played again against Scotland, Ireland, and Italy. Many great victories marked his professional journey; in 1998 and 2000 he became French champion and won the French Cup in 1999. Christophe Moni played his last test match in 2001 against Wales. He had played forty-nine matches in European competitions, including thirty-eight in the European Rugby Cup with Stade Français and thirty-one in the European Challenge with Toulon and Stade Français. After this date, his sports career would see many more successes: he was French champion in 2003 and 2004, he played as a finalist in the European Cup in 2001 and 2005, and was a finalist in the French Championship in 2005. At the end of his sports career, Christophe Moni obtained a diploma in sports management from the Faculty of Law and Sports Economics in Limoges. From 2008 to 2010, he worked as the sports manager of Rugby Nice Côte d’Azur Université-Racing. Having more work with his own company, a communication agency, he stopped managing the Rugby club in Nice and moved to Paris. He is now a consultant for iTélé.
