After studying engineering at ECAM in Lyon, Antonin Guy continued his education with a Specialized Master’s at ESSEC. Antonin Guy worked for 4 years as a consultant at a management consulting firm, Capgemini Consulting. He has notably led various studies on electric mobility in partnership with ESCP Europe since 2009.
Convinced that the electric car will be the car of tomorrow, Antonin Guy embarked in October 2010 on a remarkable adventure alongside Xavier Degon: The Electric Odyssey.
Both eager to participate in today’s environmental challenges and sharing the same thirst for adventure and desire to travel differently, the electric car quickly emerged as the preferred means to address these two issues in the realization of a project never attempted before; to complete the first round-the-world trip in a production electric car.
The ambition of this project is primarily to promote electric mobility to the general public and constitutes an exceptional human adventure.
For this first in the history of the automobile realized in 2012, here are the key figures: 8 months of adventure, 17 countries crossed, a journey of 25,000 km, and a total cost of 250 euros for electricity.
Antonin Guy now shares his unique experience around the world and the management of this large-scale project during conferences.
