Anita Witzier is a Dutch TV presenter who has built a successful career with networks such as Veronica and the KRO, became known for programs like 'Memories', won awards like the Silver Televizier Star, is committed to charities, and is active as a day chair and columnist.
Anita Witzier started her career as a broadcaster in 1988 at Veronica, and also worked in the human resources department at this network. Later, she presented TV programs for Veronica such as Veronica Travel Guide, Lucky Lotto Live, and Veronica Goes…
In 1996, Witzier made the transition to the KRO. She first presented the Aso-show and then programs such as Tien voor Taal, Hints, Not Suitable for Broadcasting, The National Parenting Test, Barely and since 1997, she has been presenting the popular and moving program Memories. Since 2005, Anita has been traveling for Memories Tour D’amour every summer with her guests in the Memories VIP bus through Europe in search of never-forgotten holiday romances.
In 2007, Anita Witzier won the Silver Televizier Star, the audience award for best female television personality of the year. Furthermore, Anita is an ambassador for both Hulphond NL and the National Rheumatism Fund. For her work for the Rheumatism Fund, she was knighted in the Order of Orange-Nassau in 2011, in the presence of Queen Beatrix, patroness of the fund. She also has a column in the weekly magazine Margriet.
