Born in Bayonne, Eric Bayle is a sports journalist and television host on the Canal+ channel. He is notably the Editorial Director in charge of Rugby. About Eric Bayle

Eric Bayle began his career at 28, commentating on F1, on channel 5, in 1991 and 1992, alongside Patrick Tambay and Jean-Louis Moncet. When the channel ceased operations, he joined Radio Sud where he commentated on rugby, his second passion.

Upon Canal+’s acquisition of the French rugby championship rights in 1995, he left radio for television where he commentated on matches with Serge Blanco and later with Philippe Sella. He also commentated on some matches of the French national team and the 1999 World Cup. He hosted Jour de Rugby from 1999 to June 2008.
