About Didier Le Querler

After an 18-year career as a pilot in the Naval Aviation, Didier le Querler has been with the coast guard for 5 years. With over 6,000 flight hours, he has gained extensive operational experience during his maritime surveillance missions. Among these, sea rescue missions have particularly heightened his awareness of the dangers of the sea and inspired him to work towards greater maritime safety. Since 2003, Didier has been presenting a conference on the conditions of “offshore rescue,” utilizing specialized aircraft. It is continuously updated with the latest feedback that he shares with top skippers and SAR (Search And Rescue) aircraft crews. He collaborates with race directors, global navigators, equipment manufacturers, as well as all stakeholders involved in a sea assistance mission (Cross, maritime prefect, airplane and helicopter crews…). His working methods, in a field where composure, rigor, and precision are key, are something Didier aims to share with companies, as they are often applicable to other sectors! Human factors, teamwork, the impact of stress, equipment knowledge, and project preparation are the main related themes he develops.
