1. Who are we?
We are Speakers Academy®, a mediator between speakers and customers. This means that we mediate in engaging Dutch and international speakers. We also organise meetings and seminars with our speakers and are co-founder of the Grand Speakers Business Knowledge Club. In addition, we are the publisher of ACADEMY® Magazine.
Speakers Academy® B.V. (trade register 24153344) is responsible for the processing of your personal data. We are located at Schiedamse Vest 67-71 (3012 BE) in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
2. Purpose and legal basis processing
Speakers Academy® processes your personal data in accordance with the purposes and procedures described in the General Data Protection Regulation.
We process your personal data in order to send you information via our newsletter. The legal basis for this processing is your consent. For all mailing lists, you must first confirm your subscription via e-mail before the subscription takes effect (double opt-in).
We process the following personal data: e-mail address, IP address, first and last name (if provided by you).
3. Storage period
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary or required by law. If permission continues to be granted, the data provided by you will not be deleted. If you unsubscribe from the newsletter and/or invoke one of your rights as described in paragraph 6, this will be processed as soon as possible.
4. Security
In order to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes, Speakers Academy® employs appropriate security procedures. If you suspect that your information is not properly secured or if there are indications of misuse, please contact Speakers Academy®.
5. Sharing with third parties
Speakers Academy® will not provide your information to third parties and will only provide it to comply with a legal obligation. We work together with external persons or organisations to perform services related to Speakers Academy®. Processing agreements have been made with these third parties to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.
In the Speakers Academy® newsletter, links can be shown to external websites and organisations. We bear no responsibility with regard to the use of your data by those organisations. Please read the privacy statement of the website you are visiting.
6. Your rights
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. Every newsletter contains a link where you can view, change or delete your data.
7. Changes Privacy Statement
Speakers Academy® reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy, for example if there are changes in the processing or if regulations change. Speakers Academy® will bring this to your attention in case of major changes.
