Ralf Höcker is partner of the trademark law firm Höcker in Köln. Mandators in media & trademark law, successfully representing large German and international enterprises (Pharma, sports-ware manu-facturers and medium industry) and international organizations (UN-organizations, sport federations). In the press and media commu-nication law he advises world celebrities and other well-known personalities from the world of politics, sports and fashion (to name just one: top model Heidi Klum).
Höcker studied two and a half years in Köln and London (LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law, King´s college London), worked as a foreign lawyer for the London Trademark law firm Willoughby & Partners, worked as an attorney at Linklaters Oppenhoff & Rädler and in 2003 created his trademark and media law firm Höcker in Köln.
Höcker is the author of the 2004 and 2005 best-sellers „Lexikon der Rechtsirrtümer“ (Lexicon of legal Misconceptions) and, “Neues Lexikon der Rechtsirrtümer” (New lexicon of legal Misconceptions) which as stated above does away with popular held beliefs about the law which guide our everyday dealings, but are in fact not true. Many perceptions belong in the realm of fantasy.
