Jérôme Creel is a Professor of Economics at ESCP-EAP European School of Management, Paris, and a Deputy Director at the Research Department of OFCE/Sciences Po, Paris. He is also the Academic Dean of the European Studies Program at Sciences Po, a joint program between Sciences Po and four Japanese universities: Keio U., Sophia U., Waseda U. and Hokkaido U.
He holds a PhD from University Paris-Dauphine in economics (summa cum laude). He is a member of the Editorial Board of Revue de l’OFCE. He is the author of a book on the EU (in French) and published more than 40 papers in refereed journals and books.
His works have dealt with monetary and fiscal policies, including coordination issues in the EMU, the economics of EU enlargement and institutional economics, notably related to the Constitutional Treaty and delegation issues. His current research is devoted to inflation targeting, the recent financial crisis and the impact of fiscal and tax policy on economic growth.
