Vicky Marissen is the director and member of the Executive Committee at the Communication, Lobbying, Anticipation and Networking (CLAN) Public Affairs ESL & Network Group. She is in charge of the comitology and the EU decision-making processes and their transposition in lobbying contracts and has an active role in the institutional communication and business intelligence. In 2001 she started as a trainee and in 2007 she became the director.
Besides her consultancy activities she is a faculty relation at the European Training Institute (ETI), an European institute that gives trainings and seminars on European affairs, communication, lobbying, policies and more, where she is in charge of the development of programme content and in charge of customised trainings.
Also at the European Training Institute she is a lecturer on the EU decision-making processes, comitology, lobbying and communication. And at the Institut Supérieur de Commerce in Paris she delivers as a guest professor several European Union lectures.
Besides her European activities she gives the training module together with Daniel Guéguen for the Georgetown University in Washington DC.
In 2007 her co-authored book 'The Comitology Reform' was published.
