Son of Hubert Saint Bris, diplomat, and Agn\u00e8s Mame.<\/p>\n<p>His studies: Saint-Philip&#8217;s School in London (Great Britain), Ecole Gerson in Paris, Saint-Joseph de Tivoli College in Bordeaux.<\/p>\n<p>His decorations: Knight of the Legion of Honour, Knight of Agricultural Merit, Commander of Arts and Letters, Commander of the Order of Saint Maurice and Lazarus.<\/p>\n<p>His career: Journalist at the Vigie marocaine (1967), at the Nouvelle R\u00e9publique du Centre-Ouest (1968), television critic, literary critic and columnist at the Figaro (1970), literary critic at France-Soir and columnist at Elle (1973-77), creator and host of the programmes Open Line and Long Distances on Europe 1 (1975-80), creator of the literary magazine Preface on TF1, pioneer of free radios, founder of Radio Mega l&#8217;O (1981), general delegate of the Cabourg romantic film festival (since 1982), reporter of the Paris daily in the United States (1982-84), vice-president of Hit FM (since 1984), history columnist on Antenne 2 (1986), advisor to the management of International Decoration (1984-87), mission officer at the Ministry of Culture and Communication (1986-88), delegate of the Academy of Fine Arts for the animation and promotion of the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild; municipal councillor of Loches; director of Strategy and Development of the Hachette press group and Filipacchi publications (1987-2001), columnist at the Journal du Dimanche (1988-90), advisor to the management (1991-92) director (1992) then president (1999) of the magazine Femme, television interpreter of the film Balzac (1999), president-founder of The Forest of Books (since 1995), of the free Edition site (since 2000), editorial director of the magazine the Spectacle of the World (2001-2003).
