She grew up in the eastern part of the country, studied physics at the University of Jena, and embarked on a journalistic career after graduation. As an author of TV contributions, she spent the first years behind the camera until she transitioned to presenting in front of the camera in 2003.<\/p>\n
She is particularly passionate about child protection. She is an ambassador for the German Society for Prevention and Intervention in Child Abuse and Neglect (DGfPI).
