Jessica Nelson was born on July 14, 1980. A graduate of Sciences Po Paris in 2001, she created one of the first French literary websites (Zone Litt\u00e9raire) and began working in literary criticism (Magazine Litt\u00e9raire, Citizen K.), publishing (Balland), and audiovisual production (novel adaptations at Kuiv Prod).<\/p>\n
In 2005, she published her first novel, Ladies, Smile (Fayard editions), and became the literary advisor for Vol de nuit (a show presented by Patrick Poivre d\u2019Arvor on TF1). She is also a member of the reading committee at Plon editions, collaborates with luxury brands (writing advertising texts), and several media outlets (SNCF La Radio, L\u2019H\u00e9micycle).<\/p>\n
2006: participation in the short story collection Plumes et dentelles (Ramsay editions).<\/p>\n
2008: publication of the essay You Can Leave the Table. A Different Look at Anorexia (Fayard) and participation in the short story collection 11 Women (J\u2019ai Lu).<\/p>\n
2010: beginning of a trilogy for young readers (The Conjurors of Niob\u00e9, at Baam \/ J\u2019ai Lu).<\/p>\n
Jessica has been the literary advisor (editor-in-chief) and coordinator of the cultural show Au Field de la Nuit on TF1 (presented by Michel Field) since 2008, where she also serves as a columnist.<\/p>\n
She is a permanent juror (and co-founder) of the Closerie des Lilas prize.<\/p>\n
In 2012, Jessica created the editions des Saints P\u00e8res, which publish manuscript versions of great contemporary texts in luxury boxes, in limited and hand-numbered editions. First publication on September 12, 2012: Hygiene of the Assassin, by Am\u00e9lie Nothomb.<\/p>\n
