About Serge Girard
Serge Girard is a French ultra marathon runner. He fulfilled the challenge of running across the 5 continents without a single day off. From 1997 to 2006 Serge Girard ran across five continents: North America, Australia, South America, Africa, Europe and Asia and set four world records.
In October 2010 he finished in Paris after running 600 marathons, 25.300 km, around the European Union in 365 days. With this achievement he set a new world record in the Guiness Book of Records.
