Paul Gillis PhD CPA is professor of practice and co-director of the IMBA program at the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University. A leading expert on accounting and auditing issues in China, he is frequently quoted in the international press, and has appeared on ABC, Bloomberg TV, Now Business Channel, Tbs EFm in Korea, RTHK in Hong Kong, and China Radio International. Dr Gillis has contributed to ChinaFile and the East Asia Forum. He has testified before the U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Commission, and has lectured at the Communist Party School. Dr. Gillis regularly speaks to investor and corporate groups. Professor Gillis is a certified public accountant from the United States and before joining Peking University was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the United States, Singapore, and China. He was a member of the Standing Advisory Group of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board from 2011 -2013 and was formerly a director and audit committee chairman of Nasdaq listed Pansoft Co. Ltd. He has resided in Beijing since 1997. The International Financial Law Review named him Market Reformer of the Year in 2012.
