About Kristina Kausch
Kristina Kausch is a senior expert on Europe in the Middle East, democratisation, and Mediterranean geopolitics.
Kristina oversees the research on the Middle East and North Africa at FRIDE, a European think tank based in Madrid. She is also teaching International Relations at the CEU San Pablo University in Madrid. Over the past decade, Kristina has published numerous articles on Europe and the Arab world. She co-edited the books ‘Islamist Radicalisation: The Challenge for Euro-Mediterranean Relations’ (2009) and ‘Europe in the Reshaped Middle East’ (2012). Kristina also provides regular commentary on English-, Spanish- and German-speaking media.
