Kaat Exterbille is an expert in ‘Future Management’ and helps your organisation to renew all corporate processes. She is managing director at Kate Thomas & Kleyn since 1990. Kaat Exterbille studied Communication Management and Entrepreneurship in Belgium and the Netherlands, followed by a master in Future Management in Paris and post-graduate studies in the United States and the United Kingdom. Kaat Exterbille is a consultant for various private and governmental organisations, that she helps to develop and analyse future scenarios systematically, to discover and take chances for the future, to prepare for possible crisis situations and to implement Future Management into the management process and the organisation culture. Kaat has been working with companies like Heineken, Lucent Technologies, Brand Breweries, Phizer, Electricity companies, national railways, museums, the Flemish governnment, the Federal Authorities, the Ministry of Labour and mid-sized and smaller companies such as KPMG, Stork Air and Pleon Advertising. In her presentations Kaat Exterbille draws a broad, visionary picture of the most important developments for mankind in the near future and the necessary steps we have to take in the present. She combines long term visions and pragmatism, which makes her lectures very special. There are many different predictions and scenarios. The problem is that we do not know enough about the future. The challenge is to learn how to use this science and to find out what is relevant or not.

During the lectures the following questions will be answered: • What do futurists 'know' about the future of society, economy, technology, nature and politics? • What does the future look like, seen from different angles? • What does the future tell us about the present? • The corporate future? • Think about the future and develop a vision and define the necessary and widely supported actions you and your co-workers have to take.
