Han is social entrepreneur, speaker, writer and researcher in the field of co-creating social enterprises and Make, Buy or Ally. He is an inspiring speaker and frequently hosts events, workshops and seminars. In an interactive way Han knows how to move people and make them think and act differently. That's what the participants value. It helps them to add new perspectives towards issues within their organizations. They go home with practical solutions which are directly applicable within their dynamic workfield. And all of that within a good atmosphere with humour, speed and a diversity of routines.

Since 2010 he is initiator and founder of We Beat The Mountain, a movement of people and organizations to beat the global trash mountain. The passion to build this worldwide movement came out of pure frustration that most functional products are being designed and produced in a non-sustainable way. But it is actually about how to see the value of trash. When we use the value of trash and change the way we design and produce products the quality of life of future generations will be able to increase drastically. The movement is being organized around a global community on Facebook with more than 30.000 fans (worldwide) and more than 55 organizations. We Beat The Mountain develops, produces and sells products of 100% recycled materials to beat the trash mountain. Fully co-creating with the We Beat The Mountain community.

Furthermore since 2000 Han is building as an entrepreneur together with 4 partners and 65 colleagues on the international development of Kirkman Company. Kirkman Company is as an independent management consulting firm in the field of co-creating social enterprises and Make, Buy or Ally the market leader.

Since 2007 Han is researcher and PhD-candidate at the Strategy Center of Nyenrode Business University. Han has written several books and articles in the field of co-creating social enterprises and Make, Buy or Ally. He is member of the editorial board of BankingReview and initiator and facilitator of 'CrossingMinds @ Nyenrode'. Han is member of the Non Executive Board of several organizations and member of the curatorium of the Postgraduate Program Management Consultant at VU Amsterdam.

Han is co-author of the book 'Signs of Tomorrow' which will be released in 2011. In 2008 Han wrote together with Ivar Davids the book 'Make, Buy or Ally?' for board members and enterpreneurs. In 2009 het wrote 'De Grootste of de Beste: 20 inzichten voor het bouwen van crisisbestendige organisaties'. Han is blogger on the new website of the Club van 30 about building social enterprises.

Han studied Organization Sociology at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Business at Universidad de Complutense in Madrid.
